The Grey Berry has won his last three and as he handles these conditions so well he gets the nomination ahead of Webbow and Il Castagno. Tim Walford's gelding won with head in chest at Beverley last time out and although he has risen 24lbs today since the start of his winning run, the way he won last time out suggests that there may well be more to come. Webbow also won very easily last time out and Tim Easterby's runner should not be underestimated at a track his trainer does well at. Il Castagno comes from an in-form yard and is a very consistent sort; the slight worry with him may be that he would prefer quicker ground. Full Victory is consistent and has a very able claimer up, whilst Rodeo ran better in first-time blinkers when last seen and could run into a place again. Granston is another for consideration now dropped in class, however The Grey Berry is on a roll and can win again.
