Verdict

David O'Meara is striking while the iron is red-hot with SAVED BY THE BELL, who looked a good bet at Ripon last week after his Hamilton success and duly obliged. He has a penalty to carry but Sam James is one of the most experienced pilots in the race and a hat-trick looks on the cards. High Office has been running well without winning and is also creeping up the weights while Arthurs Secret disappointed behind Aramist at Pontefract after his Doncaster victory. Mallory Heights ended the last campaign in fine form on Polytrack but has yet to reach a place in four starts on Turf while A Star In My Eye was beaten a long way into third at Pontefract last time.
