In depth

Verdict

This looks very tight but the progressive ARABIAN COMET can complete a hat-trick. He's been raised 10lb after his facile victory at Carlisle but can race with a penalty and is well handicapped. Connecticut is an obvious threat having landed what looked a strong Newbury maiden last month and, as a half-brother to eleven winners, he has plenty to live up to. Farquhar has been raised 10lb for a comfortable victory at Haydock but is certainly not out of this nor is the Newmarket maiden winner Tabreek, who should have much more to offer. It's difficult to rule out any of the remainder with Penhill, who found 1m4f here taxing his stamina last time, perhaps the best of them.
