Those with experience are nothing out of the ordinary, so it may be best left to one of the newcomers; with SUMMERINTHECITY making a touch more appeal than William Morgan and Number One Guy. It would also be interesting to see if support arrives for Rubicon Bay, who bids to emulate her sire, One Cool Cat, by winning this race before going on to ply her trade on the bigger stages. Not many of her siblings have been winners though. And her entry in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy may be flying high. Capacity is also worth a mention, as Mark Johnston's runners usually come on a bundle for an outing and this son of Cape Cross is also worth noting in the betting. Derby entry Number One Guy represents a yard that does extremely well at York and, as a son of Rock Of Gibraltar out of a Darshaan mare, he has a likeable pedigree. However, he is surely going to be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time, so may be best watched for the time being. William Morgan is related to winning sprinter Harrison George and has plenty of ticks in the right boxes. He has a sales race at Doncaster as a target so a big run today will give his connections plenty of hope for a profitable return. However, Summerinthecity, who changed hands for 80,000euros last September, makes more appeal for an immediate return. Jeremy Noseda has cherry picked his opening for youngsters this season and, as this appears to be a tad below the standard of recent renewals; the Newmarket handler appears to have found an ideal platform to launch the career of this half-brother to the useful Meydan Princess.
