Verdict
It would appear that KALDOUN KINGDOM has turned a corner and we take Richard Fahey's runner to follow up on his Ayr Silver Cup success and land this valuable sprint handicap at the expense of Hitchens and Green Manalishi. Winless since his juvenile days until lifting the Ayr Silver cup the selection was topping a progressive run of form with that success. The lines look strong from that race and he looks weighted to confirm his superiority over Green Manalishi despite a three pound mark rise on his preferred ground. Hitchens wasn't disgraced in the Ayr Gold Cup before winning a good race at Haydock last time out. On the pick of his form he's still fairly treated and we can expect a bold bid. Captain Dunne easily landed a weaker event a Bath last time but held his own in a decent contest a Doncaster on his penultimate run. He races off the same mark as he did last time so he has to enter our thoughts. Cheverton is good on his day but has form to overturn on a few of his rivals so this could be a good opportunity for Kaldoun Kingdom to score a two-timer.
