In depth

Verdict

EL LAIL ran green on her debut at Pontefract but only found Sir Trevor too strong up the straight. Today's longer trip should prove ideal and Mark Johnston's daughter of Haafhd is fancied to get off the mark though Blades Lad is capable of winning a maiden on the form he's shown so far at Thirsk and Beverley while Haymarket was sent off favourite at Wolverhampton last time following a promising debut at Newmarket and is probably capable of better. Linkable caught the eye when fifth on his debut at Newbury and is another to consider but Serjeant Buzfuz may need the experience today.
