Priors Hill is set to go up 4lbs after a promising return when second in a decent handicap over this trip at Newmarket last month and is taken to go one better here at the main expense of Scriptwriter and Krugerrand. The last mentioned has more to do off a 4lb higher mark than when winning at Ayr last time but still has to be respected. Best Prospect is closely matched with Krugerrand on running last time and cannot be discounted, while Topatoo could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Folio is a consistent performer and should again be thereabouts but Willie Musson's gelding may be a shade high in the weights. Dunaskin is capable of taking a hand but does not win very often, while Along The Nile would probably want a faster surface. Godolphin's Scriptwriter is unexposed and has to be of interest on his return but stablemate Priors Hill has an obvious chance and he is the selection.
