Verdict

LORD BUFFHEAD scored over the minimum trip at Hamilton in testing ground last month and makes most appeal. He's only 2lb higher today with an apprentice's claim taken into account and Richard Guest's charge looks the safest bet in this. Mr Hendrix finished fourth in heavy going last week and is preferred to Auntie Kathryn, who has crept up the weights despite not winning, while recent Kempton runner-up Itum remains without a win in 18 starts. Whiskey Junction is a C&D winner but on fast ground and struggled in the mud at Folkestone last month.
