In depth

Verdict

This has been run twice, both times going to well-backed three-year-olds. SAABOOG is likely to attract plenty of attention after her impressive victory on Fibresand at Southwell last week. There's no doubt she will be raised by more than the 6lb penalty she has to carry here and it's hardly surprising connections have opted to bring her out quickly. She gets the vote as Patriotic, who ran well behind Barwick here last month, has only won on Polytrack to date and Hierarch's recent success was in a poor race at Brighton. Conducting was beaten in a 1m2f seller last time but is better over this trip and Jonnie Skull's victory here last month was over 7f and he's 6lb higher.
