      Verdict

      ISTIKSHAF attempted to make all in soft ground over a mile at Nottingham last time but was caught in the closing stages and the drop back in trip today will suit. Gift of Rain finished last of 11 at Kempton on his debut but wasn't beaten that far and will have come on for the experience. Bilimbi encountered similar underfoot conditions at Leicester a fortnight ago and ran well for fourth but Hands Up has gone backwards since showing a glimpse of promise on his introduction at Newmarket. Twin Point cost 105,000gns and is a newcomer to note in the betting.
