Verdict

As to be expected at this level, most have trouble putting two good runs together, and STORMY MORNING is no different. However, his placed efforts at Folkestone and Warwick earlier this year would be good enough to land this and he gets a speculative vote. Marcus Antonius has claims on his placed form too, while Delorain won twice on the all-weather in January but has yet to score in 12 starts on turf. Camera Shy can boast five wins over middle-distances but this is a new trip.
