In depth

Verdict

Rose Willow looks the pick of the newcomers as she is a half-sister to three winners and cost $170,000 as a yearling. Roman Flame has been placed in seven of her 10 starts but looks opposable again over the longer trip while it's a bit worrying to see Mina's Boy already tried in blinkers after one start. Circus Star didn't really build on his Newmarket fourth last year but there is probably more to come from DIVINITE GREEN, who was very slowly away on his Newmarket debut in October. He can only improve and is preferred to Wolverhampton fourth Young Jackie.
