        Verdict

        There's a suspicion Excellent Aim is best on the all-weather though he should have come on for his seasonal debut over C&D while last month's Nottingham winner Errigal Lad has struggled off today's mark on his last couple of starts. Arch Walker is not badly weighted if back to his best but a chance is taken on YANKEE STORM as he's been thereabouts on Turf since a win at Lingfield in April and went very close at this track on his penultimate start. He had Elusive Hawk well behind when fourth over track and trip last time but Red Scintilla and Microlight should go well from the bottom of the handicap.
