Verdict

Alice Rose returned to action with a decent third over 7f at Brighton and has claims attempting a mile for the first time while Darling Grace is getting closer and finished a close-up fifth at this track on her latest start. Carpentras scored over C&D in between her more usual woeful efforts and it's anybody's guess how she'll perform but VIKING ROSE should be in the firing-line. James Eustace's filly hasn't been disgraced in better company since winning here in May and the return to this grade can see her back to winning ways. Zuzu Angel posted a better effort last time and looks best of the rest.
