Verdict

Ihtifal twice went close over mile at Kempton before finding a couple too good over 7f when favourite at Newmarket. She steps back another furlong here and is taken on with PALMETTE. The latter separated a couple of subsequent winners when fourth at Folkestone last time and John Gosden's filly can take this with normal improvement. The remainder with experience look no great shakes on what they've shown so far though If So is likely to show further progress and the only newcomer, Tahlia Ree, is worth a second glance in the betting as she's a half-sister to a pair of winners.
