Verdict

Mairise has only raced on Polytrack and has shown nothing special but his pedigree suggests he should do better in his second season over this sort of trip. Dalarosso made a reasonable handicap debut on soft ground at Nottingham and should be suited by this quicker ground. Pershing makes his handicap bow and had the cobwebs blow off at Kempton last month but Thurayaat looked a bit high in the weights at Lingfield following her Wolverhampton victory. After a promising reappearance at Wolverhampton, the front-running Shimba Hills was expected to go one better at Nottingham but couldn't keep up the gallop once headed. ROOKERY has had a couple of recent runs on Polytrack which didn't appear to suit and with a longer trip and more emphasis on stamina he can improve enough to take this.
