    Verdict

    Perseverent Pete is only modest and looks booked for third spot in this behind Hi Filwah and ARAQELLA. Jeremy Noseda's colt steps up to 7f for the first time having been placed in all four starts over shorter trips. He was only beaten a short-head over 5f at Windsor last time but may find William Haggas' newcomer too strong over the extra quarter-mile. She's a half-sister to middle-distance winner Curacao and useful miler Nine Realms and should go on to better things.
