Verdict

JAMAICAN BOLT loves soft ground and has gone well fresh in the past so the fact that he hasn't raced since March isn't a concern. He is a sporting selection ahead of back-to-form Southwell winner First In Command and Judge 'n Jury, who ran a blinder in a Listed race at Doncaster last week but struggles to get his head in front nowadays. Goldream, second in a valuable handicap at York last month, may be the best of Robert Cowell's four runners and is preferred to Thirsk scorer Storm Moon and the filly Exceptionelle of the remainder. The latter is unproven on an easy surface while Peace Seeker is upped markedly in class.
