      Verdict

Archimboldo never got a run at Salisbury on Tuesday and Sir Mark Prescott's gelding looks worth another chance on the evidence of his earlier success at Bath so is preferred to Yarqus and Crimson Flame. The last mentioned has run two good races behind the improving Anna Pavlova in his last two starts and has to be respected, while Missoula is clearly progressing but does not appear to be particularly well treated for his debut in this grade. First Empire may improve for the longer trip but needs to, while Sands of Barra has something to find with the selection on Bath running. Major Broughton and Galaxy Bound are others to consider although of more interest may be Yarqus, who has solid claims on the pick of his form but has not been the most consistent of performers. Archimboldo won well at Bath two starts ago though and, having been unlucky earlier this week, he is interesting turned out again so quickly and gets the vote.
