Verdict

Having already won four times here, Jonnie Skull can't be left out of calculations. But the seven-year-old, who will be running in his 130th race, is back on a career-high mark and may find a couple too good today. Macchiara wasn't beaten far at Newmarket last month and is usually thereabouts but we'll give another chance to the younger FOOTSTEPSINTHERAIN. He was only beaten a nose at Chepstow last week and races off the same mark here and an earlier second to Consign at Newmarket has worked out well. Rough Rock likes it here but is better over 7f and finished tailed off last time.
