Verdict

This looks an astute piece of placement by George Baker with his consistent gelding, FINAL DELIVERY. The son of Three Valleys made the first four in all six juvenile starts and landed a soft contest at Wolverhampton. He drops to this lowly grade for the first time after finding life understandably tough in a decent Lingfield handicap last time and should be plenty good enough. The fully-exposed Meet Joe Black looks the logical danger as he does have bits and pieces of fair form at a low level which is more than can be said for the remaining trio. However, he does have a great deal to find with the selection on official ratings.
