In depth

Verdict

An ordinary contest by anybody's standards. Chepstow fifth Jack Barker and RESONARE share the highest official rating and Stuart Williams' gelding gets the nod as he did appear to be improving in December, getting off the mark over 5f at Wolverhampton on his latest start. Daisie Cutter is exposed but started favourite for a three-runner handicap at Wolverhampton last time, only to finish last. Charlemagne Diva may be best of the rest.
