Verdict

Emerald Wilderness sprang a 33/1 surprise over 1m2f here just over two weeks ago but conditions will be a lot more testing today and he also has further to cover. Samarkand still looks too high in the weights while Rawaki gets no respite from the handicapper despite having failed to win since his debut on the Polytrack in June last year. Dual Sandown winner Quixote needs to step up again if he's to complete his hat-trick but Uriah Heep should continue on the upgrade now he's got his head in front and Representation made a winning reappearance at Wolverhampton, though doesn't look particularly well treated on his handicap debut. FULGUR has faced some very stiff tasks this year but his only poor run came when he failed to stay 1m5f at Newmarket in August. Now only a pound higher than when beating the useful Mijhaar last July, he can return to winning ways here.
