Verdict

MINA'S BOY looks to have got his act together now and is worth sticking with. He scored over 2m at Beverley last time and this drop back in trip should be no problem off a 4lb higher mark. Royal Premier's win here last month is beginning to look like a fluke as his form either side of that victory has been dismal, but Astrovenus produced a better effort last time when sent off favourite. Miss Whippy and Newby Lodge had both made the frame before their latest poor efforts and could figure if in the mood.
