It's good to see Pipe and McCoy together on the racecard and AMERICAN ART can supply the combination with a winner. Running in much better races than this in the current campaign, the gelding must go close relegated to this level for the first time. Hypnotic Gaze is hard to evaluate, having been beaten in a Uttoxeter seller one outing this term and then stepping up in class to land a handicap the next. He obviously comes into calculations on that excellent last effort in the context of this contest. It's quite sad to see Heron Bay also moving into selling company but it has to be accepted that he is on the downgrade. Nevertheless, he should still make his presence felt in this company.
