Verdict

APERITIF hasn't got much in the way of scope but races off the same mark as when making all over C&D in a conditionals' race eight days ago and a reproduction of that effort should see him back in the winner's circle. Tara Warrior is only a couple of pounds higher than when scoring at Hereford last week and is another to consider, but Hollies Favourite has disappointed since winning a seller over C&D in June and Venir Rouge has been well beaten on the Flat recently. Cossack Prince is still a maiden over timber and his latest third in a Stratford seller suggests he'll struggle to score here under top weight.
