In depth

Verdict

Tom George's ARTHUR'S PASS has found one too good in two outings so far, both over course and distance, and he can go one better today with the main dangers rated as Whereveryougoigo and Victrix Gale. The daughter of Presenting makes her debut today but is trained by Nicky Henderson and he does well with his runners in this grade so she has to be strongly considered. Keith Goldsworthy's Cock Of The Rock has shown progressive form in points and has claims on his rules debut, while Tim Vaughan's Dubrovnick needs to improve on previous form to get involved at the end of the race. David Pipe's Yu Tiger is another interesting newcomer and the son of Haafhd has to be respected, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. Peter Bowen's Whereveryougoigo ran well when finding just Vicpol too good on his recent debut at Stratford and he has every chance but marginal preference is for Arthur's Pass.
