Verdict

Spock has left Paul Nicholls to join Alex Dunn's yard. A change of scenery could rekindle his enthusiasm while French Ties and Gud Day have both been knocking on the door. Intac is well treated on his old form but has probably seen better days and Suburban Bay is still awaiting a first victory over fences after 10 previous attempts and has questions to answer after being pulled up in a novices' handicap at Southwell last time. SURF AND TURF has yet to manage a win under McCoy and looks a tricky ride but he undoubtedly has ability, as he showed on his only previous run over today's course and distance, and might be worth another chance.
