Verdict

Jonjo O'Neill saddles three in this but AP McCoy's presence on board Southwell bumper winner Cardinal Rose suggest he's the stable pick. Stablemates Rob Conti and So Fine, both placed in bumpers in the spring, should run well while Canadian Diamond and Casco Bay have already hinted at ability. Knockalongi ran in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham having won earlier at Doncaster and could be interesting but Charlie Mann paid £15,000 for winning pointer CARRIGLEA WOOD at the Newbury sales in March and will be disappointed if he doesn't do well under Rules. He gets a tentative vote unless the market speaks strongly in favour of one of his rivals.
