In depth

Verdict

Tarvini came back to form under James Huxham in a conditionals' race at Bangor earlier this month but Jigsaw Financial won in slightly better company here last time and looks to be on upward curve. A hat-trick on the course is a distinct possibility for Laura Young's gelding but SANGFROID has been mostly campaigned at a much higher level and is sure to strip fitter for last month's third to Advisor over an inadequate trip. Tim Vaughan will surely find a race for the grey sooner rather than later and he gets the nod in this. Fromthetop was only beaten half-a-length when favourite at Southwell last month but is 6lb higher now while the others have a bit to prove on recent form.
