Crow Down is a rare runner in one of these for Charlie Hills and he has the champion in the saddle. He's bred to win group races on the Flat but was beaten 50 lengths at Kempton in March and has obviously been difficult to train. PLAIN SAILING was only beaten half-a-length under a penalty at Market Rasen having won at Stratford on his second start. He may be too good for these though Caddells Row, Howlett and Our Crusade have all shown signs of promise.
