In depth

Verdict

Richard Johnson looks a positive jockey booking on FLEXI TIME in division two of the opening handicap hurdle and the Allison Thorpe runner has our vote ahead of the unexposed Comprimario while Fresh Air And Fun is also on our list. Suited by ground conditions the pick has run some decent races in defeat recently. He wasn't beaten that far two starts ago so with the form looking good from that race and after only finding the one too good last time he looks the percentage call off a revised mark. Comprimario has had just the four starts over timber and only needed two to get off the mark. He's got a pound less to carry after being well held in third last time but with this looking easier he is a live contender. Fresh Air And Fun has won on his only start at this track and looks well treated on his return to jumping hurdles while winning pointer Louis Pasteur showed a spark of form last time and if building on that could get involved. Another tight race this but Flexi Time has most in his favour.
