Verdict

Ex-pointer Worthy Award should be winning soon. Sergeant Dick is proving hard to place, however, while The Darling Boy is best caught fresh and may be better over hurdles. Lord Landen won at Market Rasen last month but is probably a few pounds too high in the weights now. ROYAL NATIVE and Fond Memory may be the pair to concentrate on in this with the top weight just preferred. Positively ridden to get off the mark at Exeter, he's only had the three runs over fences so may have more to offer. Fond Memory was second over 2m4f at Kempton last time but is entering unknown territory over this longer trip. Midnight Request is tried in a visor after pulling up at Cheltenham but has shot up the weights lately.
