Verdict

Sussex-based trainer Lady Herries is a rare visitor to Worcester but GENEVA GEYSER is fancied to make the trip worthwhile. A fair sort on the Flat, he made a smooth transition to hurdling when scoring on his debut over this trip at Fontwell and looks worth following this summer. The five-year-old can get the better of Uttoxeter winner Carabinier and has more scope than Dave Richards' mare Another Kate, who took five attempts to get off the mark over hurdles. Former pointer Mercury Bay has shown promise under Rules but may need more time.
