Verdict

COCK OF THE ROCK carries a penalty for his C&D victory last June but is still difficult to oppose. He failed by the narrowest of margins to make a winning reappearance back at this track and can go one better here reunited with winning partner Tony McCoy. Vinomore and Golden Lad are hard to fancy so a bigger threat could come from one of the newcomers and Valentine Bhoy makes most appeal of those. He's a half-brother to a bumper winner, as is Vehement, and the latter could also figure.
