      Verdict

Swords gets the confident vote in the finale with the likely dangers expected to be Great Chieftain and Tayman. The selection is a course and distance winner and he ran well when beating Bienheureux at Kempton last time. He is in good heart and looks the one to beat. Great Chieftain is interesting as he is stepped-up to this trip for the first time. If he gets home he will not be far away but with that question still to be answered we will oppose him on this occasion. Tayman was well-beaten at Yarmouth last time but he had previously won well at Folkestone and a reproduction of that effort would see him make the frame. Edas has got some fair form and could go well at an each-way price, but Swords is in good form and gets our vote.
