Verdict

Speagle is taken to get the better of Climate and Ballyhurry. The selection is a really likeable colt and he is chasing the hat-trick today after a couple of pleasing wins in Ireland. He is in good form and he will not be troubled by the step-up in trip and he stands out as the one they all have to beat. Climate ran a fair race at Ayr last time when finishing third behind Hypnotic. This is easier but he has not won for over two years and with this in mind the percentage call is to take him on. Ballyhurry ran well over hurdles last time and although he has performed with credit here in the past there is no doubt that he is better on the turf. Namroud is from a yard who are hardly firing at present so he looks opposable, while Toshi has been a bit disappointing of late as well. We will therefore stick with Speagle who is taken to land the spoils.
