        Verdict

        BALLYFARSOON improved for the step up to 1m6f when scoring here last month and has scope for further progress over this longer distance. Bathwick Street never threatened despite finishing third here last time but it's only a matter of time before Medieval Bishop takes advantage of a slide down the weights. Direct Approach has won a bumper on the Fibresand at Southwell while Akula, Swampfire and Cathedral have all been running well over hurdles with preference for the latter dropped 5lb for his return to the Flat.
