In a tricky race, True Magic is nominated ahead of Figaro Flyer and Lucayos. Russian Rocket is just held by Figaro Flyer based on recent Kempton form but he is better drawn than his rival today; that said, both have claims. Mambazo has put in some solid course and distance runs from his current mark and can go well again, while Hello Man and Figaro Flyer are very closely weighted based on a recent course and distance running. With his best Turf effort having come at today's trip, the step up in distance from recent runs might suit Lucayos, while City For Conquest is back to a winning course mark, although he has also been beaten off the same mark, and much as she was behind Figaro Flyer last time, a return to her form from earlier in the year would give True Magic claims.
