In depth

Verdict

Barry The Brave is selected ahead of Moyoko and Keisha Kayleigh. The selection was a previous winner in Spain and shaped encouragingly on a recent start over seven furlongs. Tried previously over further, the booking of Paul Hanagan suggests that connections are confident of some improvement. Moyoko is still a maiden but this is such a bad race that she cannot be discounted. Second at Brighton on her most recent start, the market is watched. Keisha Kayleigh is very difficult to win with and is exposed as plating class. It remains to be seen whether a drop in trip helps. Burney Al is no great shakes but does at least try inspite of a lack of ability. Course specialist, Buscador might just need the run while Right Ted has dropped significantly in the BHB ratings having started the season off a mark of 78. Mill End appeared to appreciate a switch to hold-up tactics and has obvious place claims. Barry The Brave looks interesting in a poor race and could be the call at a decent price.
