Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken here with Snake Skin, who is prefered to Qualitair Wings and Lockstock. The selection ran no sort of race here last time, weakening very quickly in the closing stages. However his previous run at Nottingham catches the eye and if repeating that effort she will be hard to beat. Following a bit of a quiet spell Qualitair Wings returned to something like his best last time out when chasing home Just Bond over course and distance. If in the same mood he will be a tough nut to crack. Lockstock has put in two dire efforts on his latest racecourse visits but has claims on his victory at Chepstow in September. The pick of the remainder could be Desert Hawk, but Snake Skin is very well treated on her best form and she gets a tentative vote.
