In depth

Verdict

YAROOH can come out on top here at the main expense of Cinq Heavens and Black Moth. The selection was a little disappointing last time at Thirsk but she had previously shown up well in maiden company at Newmarket and she certainly sets the standard for the others here. There are some interesting newcomers though and given Tom Dascombe's record with sprinters Cinq Heavens is worth a market check on his racecourse debut. The yard are not exactly in flying form at present, but he catches the eye on breeding and it would not be a surprise to see him go well. Black Moth is another newcomer who could go well, although he is bred to appreciate a slighty longer trip and the draw has not done him any favours. Bussa and Rum Sun N Sand do have the benefit of racecourse experience but they will need to improve to get competitive. The same can't be said of Yarooh and we will put her forward to land the prize.
