    Verdict

Climate seemed to appreciate the step up to 1m2f at Lingfield last time and may not be so well suited by the drop in distance today or the 6lb penalty so he looks worth taking on with preference for Aggbag, who gets the vote over Sir Bond. The last mentioned ran better again at Southwell last time but there is a suspicion that he may now be a shade high in the weights so he looks best watched at present. General Feeling disappointed at Southwell last time but may not have handled the Fibresand so may do better now back on the Polytrack, while The Gaikwar is better on turf than the artificial surfaces and may just be using this to get ready for the start of the new turf season. The Bonus King is another that has been off for some time and he looks best watched on his return, judged by the form shown when last seen. The vote then goes to Aggbag, who was good value for his win here over seven furlongs last time and he should not be inconvenienced by the step up to a mile.
