    Verdict

    It is difficult to see past AWESOME ACT and he is taken to prevail over Sweet Child O'mine and Dubai Bounty. Jeremy Noseda's colt has not been seen out since running in the breeders Cup turf race at Santa Anita last month. He finished fourth in that race having previously finished ninth in the Dewhurst and he should be a class above his rivals here. Sweet Child O'mine won well on her debut when she beat Master Leon at Southwell but she didn't meet anything in the class of Awesome Act that day and she will need to improve significantly to get her head in front today. Dubai Bounty is quite nicely bred but the yard are not renowned for first time out juvenile winners and she will have to be above average to take a hand in the finish here. It will be a surprise if either Lovers Causeway or Yorksters Prince are good enough and we will return to Awesome Act as the pick.
