      Verdict

Admiral Bond probably has the best claims on form going into this handicap over the minimum trip but he has been done few favours with a draw in stall 12 of the 13 runners and looks best watched in a race taken to go to TABOOR, who gets the vote over Bertbrand. The last mentioned has the best of the draw being berthed in stall one and he has to be respected with that position giving him every chance if he can make use of it, especially having slipped to a fair mark. Triskaidekaphobia normally bursts from the starting stalls and tries to hold on but invariably there is little more to give late on and that is likely to be the case again here. Cocktail Party and Sir Loin both have solid claims on form but face no easy task from their respective draws in stalls 11 and 13. Peter Grayson's Woodcote is better berthed than most in stall two but the trainer does not have many winners and he looks best left out of calculations with a better bet being Taboor. Robert Cowell's gelding bounced back to form when chasing home Gleaming Spirit at Kempton last time and, if able to reproduce a similar level of form today, he should take plenty of beating.
