Verdict

Top weight UNDER WARRANTY is the form pick to land the first division of the amateur riders handicap at the expense of Inca Soldier and Fantasy Fighter. The selection has winning form over in his native Italy and showed promise when finishing second to Grand Palace over course and distance recently. This is a competitive contest and a number of horses have chances but if Under Warranty runs up to his best he is sure to go close. Inca Soldier caught the eye when finishing a close second over course and distance recently. He has been raised four pounds for his troubles though which will make life tougher. That said he is another to add to the short list. Fantasy Fighter is nothing but consistent winning back to back races last month. He now runs off an eight pound higher mark which he is yet to win off and considering he has been a beaten favourite on his last two starts suggests that the handicapper has him where he wants him. So for the winner we return to Under Warranty.
