Verdict

LYRIC PIECE wasn't beaten far when fifth in a tight finish at Kempton a week ago. Dropping down a couple of grades today, she can return to winning ways. Bath winner Madame Elizabeth was well beaten when trying this longer trip at Chester and Soul Intent is preferred on his earlier win over 1m2f at Lingfield. Muthafar was still beaten a long way despite finishing second at this track last month, though may do better on his handicap debut. Seaside Rock and Corn Snow have something to prove as they step up in distance.
