Verdict

This looks the more interesting of the two divisions so TASFEYA can be no more than a tentative pick. Mark Johnston's charge is closely related to last year's Middle Park winner Awzaan and showed promise on his debut at Newcastle when easy to back. In keeping with most runners from the yard he's expected to improve a bundle for that experience and as he still holds an entry in Redcar's Two-Year-Old Trophy connections will be hopeful he's up to this task. Gentleman Is Back looks the chief threat from those to have raced as he caught the eye over a mile at Kempton and should do better over this trip with that run behind him, especially with John Gosden's runners in such fine form. Flag Officer is related to an Italian Oaks second and needs a look in the betting along with Invent, Irons On Fire and Danadana, with the latter most interesting on account of a Racing Post Trophy entry.
