Verdict

VIOLENT VELOCITY is only 1lb higher than when winning at Doncaster in October and made a winning reappearance over C&D earlier this month. He looks the best option in this ahead of Moral Issue. The latter was third here last time to Daniel Thomas, who went in again earlier this week, while Irish import Devonelli has claims on his first start for a new yard making the frame at Dundalk a fortnight ago. Muftarres has a bit to find with the selection, but Hamilton maiden winner Lifetime is worth noting on his Polytrack debut.
