The opener at Wolverhampton is quite a competitive affair but hopefully JOHN POTTS can out gun Kingaroo and Hint Of Honey. The selection has been very consistent for a horse of this grade and the form is not bad either. At the moment he is well handicapped on his old form. He runs from a mark of 43 but was very competitive off much higher marks last year. Connections have been running him over longer trips and I feel the drop to one mile two furlongs will certainly help. A good jockey is booked for a yard that has had a good year. John Potts may have most to fear from Kingaroo who returned to form on his last start. That was over seven furlongs in a decent race for the grade and the step up in trip today should suit. The handicapper has also given Kingaroo a chance. Hint Of Honey has a decent record when fresh so her small break of 57 days is not a worry. Her win two starts back gives her a chance if liking the Wolverhampton surface. Mr Chocolate Drop, Naledi and Portrush Storm should also be monitored in a trappy contest where the market will provide a useful selection tool.
